To beef things up, we made these lip balms broad spectrum SPF to protect your lips from UVA and UVB rays by using a healthy dose of zinc oxide for sun protection. Which, by the way, is oxybenzone-free and the same stuff we use in our reef friendly sunscreens. We love it when skin care and earth care overlap.

Zinc oxide is a topical, non-nanoparticle, mineral-based ingredient that sits on top of your skin (protection by reflection); it is one of only two ingredients that has been FDA-approved for general recognition of safety and effectiveness (GRASE). Packaging contains recycled content.
