Bearing Buddy Wheel Bearing Protectors provide protection against damage from water and dirt entering the wheel bearings and make lubricating bearings a snap. Wheel Bearing Protector model number 1980A-SS includes a blue ring which acts as a visual lubricant level indicator. It features stainless steel construction. The 1980A-SS stainless steel bearing protector is compatible with a 1.980 (50.29 mm) hub bore. Use with hubs with Outer Bearing Cones: L-44643 L-44649 and L-44640. Use with hubs with Outer Bearing Cup (race): L44610. The Wheel Bearing Protector weighs 1 lb.
