The Classic Mustad Salmon Egg Hook features a long beaked point that provides better penetration and hook hold. The short shank makes it perfect for presenting single salmon egg, either artificial or cured natural, targeting Trout. A great way to fish these small hooks are drop shotting or on a sliding bottom rig. The hook features an up-turned eye, which works particularly well in combination with the Snell knot for optimal presentation of the bait. Mustad's Salmon Egg Hooks feature a slice/barb on the shank for better holding the bait in position. Mustad's Wire Technology and Nor-Tempering Process which means that hooks are lighter and up to 30% stronger. The “MTL-V1” point combines a more efficient point design with a new sharpening process to enhance the quality. The result is a sharper, sleek new point shape with penetration resistance 50% lower than standard Classic Hook points! The hook comes in 14kt Gold finish to blend more in with the bait for hook shy fish.
