The Sea Dog Open Base Cleat is an essential addition to any boat. You screw them into the deck rails or elsewhere and use them to hold lines securely. Wrap rope around the base when you toss out a life preserver or other equipment to keep it from slipping out of your hands. You can also string up gear hammocks and other storage solutions between Sea Dog cleats. They re treated to have a resistance to rust for a longer usable life.
